Series Rules and Structure

Rules

Because regular size wasn’t big enough... Africa XL takes everything up a notch with deep stacks, a full mix of high hand poker variants, and plenty of room to play. Bigger stacks, more variety, and more ways to find yourself in trouble.

- Game Variant: NLH, PLO, PLO5
- Starting Stack: 10,000
- Blinds: Beginning at 25/50
- UTG Straddle: Optional

Bonuses

Performance bonuses earned for Top-3 finishes throughout the nine qualifiers will then be added to that player’s base stack, rewarding strong finishes throughout the series.

- 1st place: 1500
- 2nd place: 750
- 3rd place: 250

Final Table Qualification

There will be 9 qualifiers that lead into a 7-seat final table event - based on the Top-7 positions in the standings. A competitor who wins three games during the series automatically qualifies for the Final Table, regardless of their final position in the standings. Once all automatic qualifiers have been determined, the remaining seats at the Final Table will be filled through wildcard selections. If there are no automatic qualifiers, the top-7 competitors in the standings will earn a seat at the final table.
