Series Rules and Structure

Rules

Welcome to The Ultra Knockout! This is a mixed-variant bounty tournament with UTG straddle, increased antes, and new bounty bonuses that award competitive dominance with extra points. Before each game on player is appointed the bounty prior to the start of the game. The winner of the previous week will be the bounty for the next game. If the bounty player is a no-show for the current game, the alternate will be based on the standings of the previous game.

Game Variant: NLH, PLO, & PLO5
Starting Stack: 5,000
Blinds: Beginning at 5/10 and increasing significantly as the tournament progresses
Antes: 10% to 20%
Straddle: UTG Straddle 2BB is enabled but optional

Bonuses

STANDARD KNOCKOUT. 1 pt per knockout (winner retains their own knockout point, unless they are the main bounty)

STANDARD BOUNTY. 3pts per main bounty knockout (main bounty retains 3 pts if they win)

ASSASSIN. 1 pt for knocking out the Main Bounty and winning the tournament (main bounty is exempt)

KILLING SPREE. 1 pt for 6+ KOs in a game, provided you don't win the tournament (Tournament winners are ineligible)

TRIPLE KILL. 1 pt bonus for one player knocking out 3+ players at once (cannot be a split situation)

DOUBLE TAP. 2 pts for winning 2 tournaments in a row (bonus resets after 2 games)

ULTRA KNOCKOUT. 5 pts for clean sweeping the entire field, winning all the bounties, and winning the game.

SPLIT BOUNTY. If two or more players win a hand that results in a knockout, the points will be equally split among the winners.

Final Table Qualification

This is an 10-game series with no final table. The competitor at the top of the standings will be crowned the Ultra Knockout Champion.
