Thirty-One Rules

🎯 Objective

Score as close to 31 as possible using three cards of the same suit. If you hit exactly 31, the round ends immediately.

🃏 Card Values

• Ace = 11
• King, Queen, Jack = 10
• Number cards = Face value

Only cards of the same suit count toward your score. Your highest-suited total is your hand value.

🔄 Turn Flow

• On your turn, choose one action:
• Draw a card from the deck, then discard one card.
• Take the top discard card, then discard one card.
• Knock if you believe you have a strong hand.
• Hands always remain at three cards after discarding.

🚨 Knock Rules

• When a player knocks, all other active players get exactly one final turn.
• The knocker does not take another turn.
• After all final turns complete, the round is scored.

⚡ Instant 31

💀 Losing Lives

• If a player hits exactly 31, all other players lose one life.
• Otherwise, the player(s) with the lowest score lose one life.
• If someone knocked, the knocker cannot lose the round.

🏁 Elimination & Victory

• Each player starts with 3 lives.
• When a player reaches zero lives, they are eliminated.
• The last remaining player wins the game.

🧠 Special Hand

• Three cards of the same rank (e.g., 7♠ 7♥ 7♦) counts as 30.5.
